The Hazard Awareness Test is designed to measure an individual’s hazard awareness ability. This is the first step in the avoidance of risky behaviour, and ultimately the avoidance of accidents. Once an individual has identified a hazard, they then have the opportunity to avoid it, remove it, alert others to its presence etc.
